A new year i...I like your comments on resolutions. A new year is always an exciting time at the gym, so many more people are there and happy about exercising. It is also a sad time though as the number of people still exercising by February and March has greatly diminished. Making resolutions that can be maintained throughout life is a better approach. If I could guess what happens to people when they decide to quit after a few months, it is that they don't see the change they hope to see. What people need to remember is that AmAzInG changes are occuring as a result of the exercise. They are changes that aren't necessarily reflected on the scale, but exercise breathes life and health into the body regardless of what people are seeing on the scale. It improves health in ways we can't even understand. So my advice to those who set resolutions for health is to make them reasonable so that you can maintain them all year rather than just a few months of the year, and never give up.
